Katy Matson is a Life Sciences Instructor at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. She holds a Master's of Science in Clinical Molecular Genetics from Northern Michigan University and is completing her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan Technological University. Prior to her current role, she taught Biology and Chemistry at Gogebic Community College and worked as a teaching assistant and research mentor at Michigan Technological University. Previous, she worked as a laboratory scientist at several medical facilities and holds a Medical Laboratory Technician accreditation from ASCP.
