Mike Gardner is an Automotive Instructor at Bay College. Gardner has been employed at Bay College since 2010, originally hired as an Adjunct Welding Instructor and later hired as a full-time automotive Instructor in 2015. Prior to being hired full-time at Bay College, Gardner taught for the Delta Schoolcraft ISD in Escanaba for 19 years. Prior to teaching, he worked as an Automotive Technician in a dealership for many years. Gardner holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Technical Education from Ferris State University and earned his Associate’s Degree in Automotive at Bay College. He has earned a number of National ASE Certifications; Master Automotive Technician, Advanced Level Specialist and the Maintenance and Light Repair Technician Certifications. In addition to being ASE Certified, he is also a State of Michigan Certified Mechanic.
