Nanci Love

Nanci Love teaches in the Arts & Letters division at Bay College. She received her BA in English and History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her Master's Degree in British Literature and Composition from Eastern Michigan University. She also did a semester at University College in Oxford, England. She previously taught at Eastern Michigan, Wayne State, Schoolcraft CC, and the University of South Carolina at Beaufort. Hired at Bay College in 1992, she now teaches, both on campus and online, a variety of literature classes (American Lit, British Lit, World Lit, History of Science Fiction, Intro to Lit, and Women's Lit) and writing classes (Rhet & Comp, Research Writing, and Writing Poetry and Fiction), as well as Theater Appreciation and History of Film. She currently organizes The Bay Film Series and is the editor of The DEN (the Dual Enrollment Newsletter). She is active locally and statewide in diversity and equity issues, has earned an OPIE (Outstanding Person in Education) from the Michigan Education Association in 2007, and serves as the Chair of the MEA's International Understanding Commission in Lansing.
