Travis Blume joined Bay College in July 2014 and currently serves as the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Born and raised in Indiana, Travis earned his associate and bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University and his master’s degree in organizational leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology. Dr. Blume also earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Global Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology, with research focused on faculty job satisfaction and the use of Servant and Transformational Leadership. Most recently, before Bay College, Dr. Blume worked as the University Registrar at Indiana Institute of Technology and as the Registrar for Ivy Tech Community College’s East Central Region. He served Bay College as the Registrar, Executive Dean of Student Services, and Vice President of Student Services before being named the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Dr. Blume also teaches as a part-time faculty member, teaching courses in organizational leadership, human resources, business ethics, and employee development. Dr. Blume is also involved in the local community, serving as a 4-H club leader and the Vice President of the Delta County 4-H Council.
