YMCA Single Membership

Bay College students and employees are entitled to a free single membership to the Northern Lights YMCAs both in Delta County and Dickinson County. Family memberships are available for a fee.


YMCA Tot Watch

Let us watch your little one while you use the YMCA or go to school at Bay. Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The maximum stay for any one child on any given day is 2-1/2 hours. Cost: FREE for Members and Bay College Students (6+ credits).

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for the Tot Watch Program. To register your child or children please call (906) 789-0202. Parents will need to pre-register their child a minimum of 1 week in advance and up to a maximum of 5 weeks ahead of time. If you register and do not show up without calling to cancel there will be a charge of $3.75/hour per child. Please be respectful as other parents need this service as well. If you need to cancel our services a minimum of 3 hours is required to avoid being charged.


Athletic Events

Bay College students get in FREE to all athletic events. Employees pay a discounted rate. GO NORSE!


Discounted Bay College Events

Bay College students and employees are offered discounted rates for college sponsored events on campus. Visit the event calendar or box office for details.


FREE Microsoft Office 365

Bay College students and employees may obtain a current download of Microsoft Office software for both PC and MAC for FREE.


Affordable Internet

NMU’s Educational Access Network (EAN) brings internet to the education community in the Upper Peninsula. No contracts, application fees or data caps, and it includes free online learning modules. $19.95/month (K-12, college students and Bay College employees)


Food Pantry

The shelves are stocked, the fridge is full, and the freezer is loaded: the Bay College Student Food Pantry is available for current Bay students in need 3:00 – 5:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays and 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Fridays during the academic semesters. The pantry is managed on campus by TRiO and an agency partner with Feeding America West Michigan.

Career Closet

In need of professional clothing a job interview or work? The Career Closet is available on both campuses to help get you ready. The Escanaba Career Closet located in CB 230 is open on Wednesdays 3:00 - 5:00 PM and at Bay College West by stopping in Student Services. Clothing is available at no cost to students.
