Write to Win!

Bay College’s Annual Writing Competition Now Accepting Entries

Any current Bay College student may submit up to three entries in each of three categories: fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction (personal essay). A first prize of $50 and a second prize of $25 will be awarded in each category at the local level. The top two entries in each category will advance to the state competition, where cash prizes will be awarded for each category.

Holiday Cards for Seniors

Help us brighten the holidays with holiday cards for seniors. A card station will be in the Lower Commons from November 24th to December 10th. Make someone smile by filling out a card with holiday wishes. They will be delivered to a local nursing home.

Don't miss the fourth Annual Veterans Speak Intergenerational Dialogue.  This year's program focuses on advocacy for Vietnam War-era merchant mariners. It features a keynote from Miss Wendy Coble, a maritime historian and underwater archaeologist with the US Maritime Administration. The event is free and open to the public.
