Bay College is hosting its annual College Fair Nights – Stay Local, Go Far!

Students, families, and community members are invited to meet with representatives from over 30 colleges and universities to explore higher education opportunities across the State of Michigan.

📍 Escanaba Campus: Monday, September 8, from 5:30 to 7 PM Eastern in the Besse Galleries.
📍 Iron Mountain Campus: Tuesday, September 9, from 5:30 to 7 PM Central in the Lower Commons and Fornetti Hall.

Thinking about transferring to the University of Michigan? The Transfer Bridges program connects Bay College students with the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). Through this partnership, students receive guidance and resources to make transferring smoother and more accessible.

You’ll have the chance to meet Christian Comment, Transfer Recruiting Coordinator for U-M LSA, and learn more about academic programs, admissions, and support services.

🎃 Trunk or Treat Coming to Bay College Escanaba Campus!

The Nursing Association and EMT/Paramedic Club invite you to join the fun at this year’s Trunk or Treat event on the Escanaba campus!

🕟 Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (ET)
📍 Location: Parking lot outside the JHUC building

Bring the whole family for an evening of candy, creativity, and community spirit!

  • Enter your decorated trunk for a chance to win prizes.

🏆 A traveling trophy will be awarded to 1st place, with additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place winners.

🩺  Bay College has teamed up with Public Health to offer The Center for Youth Health & Wellness right here on the Escanaba campus!

The Center provides non-emergency medical care and mental health services for anyone ages 10 to 21 inside the Catherine Bonifas Building.

And here’s something new—you’ll find a wellness vending machine just outside the Bay Café, stocked with essentials like pain relievers, deodorant, cough drops, and more. It’s discreet, easy, and available whenever campus is open.

🚎 NEW Transportation partnership to benefit Bay College students!

 In partnership with DATA Bus Transportation, the Data Bus is available every Tuesday departing the east end of the Student Housing Complex parking lot transporting students to the Escanaba Walmart for grocery and essential items.  Pick-up will occur between 12:35-12:45 PM,  arriving at the Escanaba Wal Mart by 1:00 PM. Return trips will depart from the grocery store entrance of Wal Mart, between 2:00 PM and 2:15 PM. Total round-trip time is approximately 1.5 hours. This service is free to Bay College students for the fall semester and will begin on Tuesday, September 9.

Veterans Speak 2025 will be held this year on Monday, November 24th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM ET.   

Each year, this webinar program is developed and hosted by the students Bay College Civics Corps to honor our veterans and serve the community. Veterans from the armed services and Merchant Marine gather for a unique, intergenerational conversation about their experiences. The Civics Corps students work with area and national veterans organizations to develop the program.
