Bay College is excited to announce the reception for the Student Art Exhibition that celebrates the success of our art students at Bay College! We look forward to this exhibition at the end of each semester.
The Besse Gallery will display the exhibit from May 1 to August 2025. The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony is on Thursday, May 1, at 2 pm, allowing the community to meet the artists and discuss their work.
The exhibition represents a culmination of a semester of work for these students. The exhibit will include 2-D design, printmaking, painting, and photography. The students use various media to produce their compelling works, learning to create unified compositions that effectively communicate their ideas and expertise.
The exhibited works in this juried art show originated from three art classes: Visual Structures, Digital Photography, and Painting. One artwork from each course will be purchased to become part of Bay’s Permanent Art Collection. Second and third-place winners will receive monetary awards.
