October is College Month in Michigan, and Bay College had the pleasure of welcoming local high school seniors onto campus for a day of college and degree exploration. The event, which took place at the end of September, gave prospective students a firsthand look at college life and the many opportunities available to them at Bay and beyond.

The event was part of Bay College’s ongoing commitment to being an all-access college – where every student is welcomed and supported. Bay College’s application is always free, requires no essay, and has no GPA minimum, making it easier for students to take their first step toward their college-bound journey.

“As we celebrate College Month, we also want to recognize the incredible work of Michigan College Access Network (MCAN),” says Director of Admissions, Jessica Beaver. “MCAN provides valuable resources to students and families preparing for college from financial aid guidance to college planning tools, they help make higher education more accessible across the state of Michigan.”

Throughout the day, students engaged in presentations, toured campus, discussed potential fields of study with faculty and Division Deans, and learned about the College’s student support services and career pathways.

“Bay is proud to be a part of this movement and remains dedicated to empowering students to achieve their goals. Whether you’re just beginning or ready to apply, Bay is here to support you every step of the way,” says Beaver.
