What is an ACEN site visit?
The site visit is a formal review conducted by a team of peer evaluators to assess a nursing education program's compliance with ACEN standards. As part of this process, the ACEN and the host institution must provide the community with an opportunity to offer comments about the program.

Bay College is hosting a site visit on October 22, 2025, for the continuing accreditation of its Associate of Science in Nursing, RN by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
The public is invited to share comments about the program with the site visit team at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 10/22/2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Besse Health and Tech Building, Room 422, N. Lincoln Rd, Escanaba, MI. A virtual option may be available at https://bit.ly/publicACEN.
