Nicholas M. Chenier

Board Chair

A graduate of Escanaba High School, Nick earned an Associates in Arts Degree in Business Administration from Bay College in 2017.  Utilizing the LSSU Regional Center on Bay’s campus, he continued his education and received a Bachelor in Business Administration Degree with a minor in Accounting and Finance from Lake Superior State University.

When Nick first started at Bay College, he was unsure on which career path to follow.  His time at Bay allowed him to research, reflect and truly identify his passions.  He had an interest in engineering, but after touring multiple firms, he discovered that it was not the right fit for his personality and aspirations.  He made the decision to pursue a degree in business, and Nick has not looked back once.  He is a self-motivator, determined to succeed.

An accomplished entrepreneur, Nick is the owner of Chenier’s Greenhouse and Chenier Enterprises.  He enjoys giving back to the community with his time, talents and treasures by donating to non-profits, including the UP Honor Flight and the 4-H Auction at the UP State Fair.

Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, working with plants, and growing his knowledge through reading, YouTube, and podcasts.
