W. Leah Block- Sexton is an Arts and Letters Instructor at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. Sexton has been employed since 2004. Courses taught include Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, Research Writing, and Interpersonal Communication. She has developed four focused Literature concentrations including Introduction to Literature, American Literature, Women’s Literature and Children’s Literature. Sexton has also worked on OER resources for her discipline. She holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Post-Secondary Instructional Learning from Western Michigan University with studies in Literature from Michigan State University. Currently she is continuing studies at Capella University. In addition to working at Bay College, Sexton also serves as a summer Michigan State Parks’ Guide providing programs in wildlife, environs, culture, history, and special events.
