Lisa is an adjunct nursing instructor who has been working at Bay since 2013; Lisa has taught at both Bay campuses and in the clinical setting at OSF. Lisa's specialty in teaching is in the medical-surgical, capstone and fundamental arenas. Lisa has been a nurse educator for over 30 years beginning her teaching career with Ohio University (OU) in 1993. She retired from OU in 2010 when she moved north to Escanaba. Lisa received her basic nursing education in Ohio, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Ohio University and her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Wright State University, Dayton OH. She also earned her certified nurse educator (CNE), as well as certification through Bay with the on-line Blackboard system. Lisa has four peer reviewed publications r/t nursing education and has taught for several online RN-BSN programs.
