I began taking classes at Bay in September 2012 and graduated with my Associates of Arts in May 2014. At my time of enrollment, I had no idea what career I wanted to seek after graduation. Bay allowed me to sample and experience what different careers would be like through their broad course offering.

I was able to learn beyond the general curriculum with my participation in the Honor’s Program and community philanthropy with Phi Theta Kappa. These experiences both inside and outside of the classroom allowed me to grow as an individual and point me in the right direction of where I can best  pursue my professional passions. The attention and teaching of the instructors was second to none in all of my classes as each one knew me by name from the first week of classes and beyond.

I was able later to transfer to the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business because of the skills and instruction I had received from the staff at Bay. The college helped lay a strong educational foundation for my next step in pursuit towards a career in the world of finance and community banking. I have no doubt that I am where I am today because of the educational and learning opportunities I received while attending Bay College.
