Samantha Griebel to Address Bay College Graduates During Commencement

Bay College is excited to announce that Samantha Griebel has been selected to deliver the College’s 2024 Commencement speech on May 4.

Samantha is the fourth of five siblings and the first in her family to earn a college degree. She’s been married to Drew for six years, and they have a beautiful two-year-old daughter together, named Rose. Samantha enjoys reading and camping in the U.P. with her family during the summers.

“Growing up my family didn’t have much, but my dad taught me that where I come from and how much money I have doesn’t limit my potential,” states Samantha. “My mom taught me that if you work hard enough, you can achieve your goals, whatever they may be. Those lessons, combined with the support and guidance Bay College has provided me, has helped me achieve a goal I never thought was possible.”

Samantha plans to continue her education at Bay College in the fall and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Marketing. She hopes to use that knowledge in her current career at Upper Peninsula State Bank.
