Bay College to Host 2024 Upper Peninsula Teaching and Learning Conference (UPTLC)

Bay College is thrilled to announce the 2024 Upper Peninsula Teaching and Learning Conference (UPTLC), scheduled for May 13 and 14, 2024 at the Escanaba Bay College Campus. Renowned for its commitment to educational excellence, the Conference will feature four tracks addressing modern learning challenges:

  • Teaching techniques for online, hybrid, or virtual learning
  • Teaching and learning in the age of Artificial Intelligence
  • Engaging modern learners
  • Self-care for college students and/or college employees

“We’re excited to provide a platform for educators to share best practices and explore innovative strategies,” states Joseph Mold, Executive Director of Online Learning at Bay College. “The Conference will offer diverse sessions, including workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities.”

Registration for the Pre-Conference on Monday, May 13 from 1pm – 4:30pm ET is $49, while the full-day Conference on Tuesday, May 14 from 8am – 5pm ET is $99. Along with meals being provided within the registration fee, State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) will also be offered during the UPTLC.
