Bay College will present U.P. native Joshua Davis in concert at 7:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 18^th in the Besse Theater.  A tried- and -true Michigan musician, Joshua Davis is not only already a heavily touring/recording artist with his previous band, Steppin’ In It, but familiar to many around the world from successfully spending more than six months in the national spotlight on the hit show, The Voice.

Davis made it to the final three contestants on NBC’s “The Voice” contest in 2015. He went on to sing high-profile duets with Sheryl Crow (Live Finale: (“Give It to Me”) and Adam Levine (Live Finale: “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes”), and he helped break the mold of original material being showcased on “The Voice.” Davis was the first artist to sing an original piece on the show, which spawned the later segment, “This Week of Original Songs.” With Los Lobos’ producer, Steve Berlin, Davis released a full length studio album, “The Way Back Home,” to critical acclaim.
