West Campus Prepares for 2018 Free Family Fun Night
News
West Campus (Bay West) is hosting its third annual Family Fun Night on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. CST in the Lower Commons. All are welcome to this free community event, but children ages ten and under will find the evening most entertaining. “Finding quality time in this busy day and age is a challenge. We want to provide our community with a chance to create memories for free.” shared Britt Slade, Math Instructor at Bay College and lead coordinator of the event.
This year’s theme is pumpkins and will feature family-friendly crafts, S.T.E.M. activities and fall snacks. Story time will take place at 6:30 p.m. CST with an animated reading of “How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? (Mr. Tiffin's Classroom Series).” In addition, all children who attend Family Fun Night will also receive a free book, while supplies last. Laura Moloney, Director of Student Services at West Campus, said, “This is a fun, educational event for everyone in the family. Your kids will go home happy, with a book and ready for bed.” For more information on Bay West’s Family Fun Night contact Britt Slade at sladeb_FROM_BAY_COLLEGE.
