Bay College Student Nurses Association Announces Second Annual “Gobble Wobble!”

Bay College announces the Student Nurses Association Second Annual Gobble Wobble 5K run/walk.  This family- friendly activity will run its course on the Bay College Escanaba Campus with on-site registration starting at 8:30 am on Saturday, November 10th with the race beginning at 9 am.  The registration tables will be set up at the front entrance of the college’s Besse Center entrance. The first 50 registered runners/walkers will receive a Gobble Wobble souvenir to take home. 

There will be a trophy awarded to the first place 5K finisher as well as ribbons for second and third place.  Cost of the event is $10, with all proceeds this year going to Abbie Silverstone, daughter of Jamie and Nichole Silverstone, to assist with medical and travel costs associated with Abbie’s recent diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Participants are encouraged to wear violet purple in support of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
