Warm Coats from Warm Hearts Campaign Kicking Off at Bay College

News

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) club at Bay College announced today that the Warm Coats from Warm Hearts Campaign for this upcoming winter season has started and will continue until December 17, 2018. This campaign allows people in our community the opportunity to fill donation boxes around town at major outlets as well as Bay College with a warm, gently used coat for those in need. All donations go to the Salvation Army and the Tri-County Safe Harbor women’s shelter.

In the past, the club helped garner hundreds of donated coats and it asks the community to continue to do the same this year. Elmer’s County Market was eager to climb on board as one of the first contributors this year as they have helped countless people in the past with this commitment. The BPA club hopes all that can invest in this community, do so!

This decision as a club to assist local community members in need is an honor for all involved. While donations of coats are being sought, all winter clothing will be accepted.

Business Professionals of America is a student organization with local presence in Bay College’s Joseph Heirman University Center. It has provided Delta County members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service, and personal development.
