The Braumart Classic Movie: The Goonies

Why we like it: The Braumart is a historic Theater filled with character, so what better place to watch The Goonies?  A classic movie about a boy who goes searching for treasure with his friends but has a few scary encounters on the way.

Samuel Bassett Viewing Platform
Just past the Millie HIll Bat Viewing off of Park Avenue

Why we like it: This platform is located just above the ice arena and overlooks all of Iron Mountain. The snow is finally melting and It is a great place to get some pictures!  A nice walking trail leads out to this and it is gorgeous day and night.

Marion Park Easter Egg Hunt

Why we like it: It is a great free event for families in the surrounding communities to gather and have some Easter fun!  This annual Easter egg hunt is something kids look forward to. Bring your family out this year!

Dickinson County Mom Prom

Why we like it: This is a chance for women to get out their old prom and wedding dresses for a fun girls night out!  The night will be filled with dancing, photobooths, food, and lot’s of fun.  All proceeds of this charity event will go towards the Iron Mountain-KIngsford Zonta Club.  Come support a good cause and have a good time!

Purse and Pour

Why we like it: If you have some purses you’re looking to get rid of this is the perfect place to donate them to! All purses donated will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to the DICSA Home Meal Delivery Program.  You can also purchase a ticket in advance for $20.00 or $25.00 at the door to attend the auction and bid on a new purse!

Mountain Madness

Why we like it: Come join us for some fun out on the hill. We will start registration at 9am for Cardboard Classic outside of the Sitzmark. Slush Cup and King/Queen of Mountain registration will start at 10am in the same location. Mountain Madness isn't going to end when the events are done! We have music by Schizophonic in the Sitzmark with Short's Brewery serving some ice cold beer!!
