“Your Health Lecture Series” Offered by Bay College and MSU College of Human Medicine

The regular “Your Health Lecture Series” sponsored by Bay College and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine continues Tuesday, February 16 at 6:00 PM. This month’s lecture features a talk by Dr. Lisa Lowery titled “Face it to address it: Health disparities, social injustice and health care.” The presentation is free and open to the public. Join Dr. Lisa Lowery for an informative conversation about health care and social injustice. Participants will learn about how inequities impact one’s health, microaggressions and impact on healthcare, addressing unconscious bias, and how to use a DEI Lens to impact healthcare.

Dr. Lowery is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and a Physician in Adolescent Medicine with Spectrum Health.
