Roll Named Outstanding Graduate for Social Sciences Division

Each year, Bay College selects an Outstanding Graduate from each of the six divisions at the college.  The graduate is selected by their instructors for their academic excellence, leadership and community service.

Maia Roll was selected as the 2022 Outstanding Graduate for the Social Sciences Division, with the award being sponsored by Burkhart, Lewandowski & Miller, the Bay College Faculty Association and the Bay College Foundation.

Maia started her college journey at Bay in 2017.  She received an Associate in Arts in Business Administration in December 2018, an Associate in Arts in Social Work in December 2021, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Small Business in May 2022.  Throughout her time on campus, Maia was involved in Business Professionals of America (BPA), successfully competing at local, regional and national levels.  Maia is currently living downstate and working as an event planner.

In regards to Maia’s experience at Bay, she stated “Bay College has greatly impacted my life.  Bay’s scholarship program made going to college a viable option for me and Bay’s amazing staff helped me succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.  I’m very thankful for the immense support that I received as a student.”
