The 2020 “Chain of Love” fundraiser resulted in 500 links in the chain which represents the amount of funds raised in the annual event for the local Area 1 Special Olympics.
The Bay College/LSSU Regional Center chapter of Business Professionals of America raised a record amount of $500.00 in donations that has been awarded to the Special Olympics program of Delta, Schoolcraft, and Menominee counties.
This surpasses the previous record set in 2016 of $345.00. This new record was in large part due to the efforts and participation of Bay College and LSSU Regional Center staff and students, along with the community at large.
