Bay College’s West Campus Offers New Non-Credit Classes this Fall

Bay College West Campus (Bay West) has added new classes to their calendar for this fall. Interested individuals are urged to register in advance in order to ensure class minimums are met.

A professional development workshop titled, Vendor Relations for Non-Buyers will take place on Tuesday, October 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. The purpose of this course is to train individuals who don’t work in purchasing on how to negotiate prices and be mindful of the information shared with vendors. Through this training, students will learn the buying process, what not to do, and strategies to put in place that will benefit a business’s bottom line. The price is $120.

Computer Basics: Computer Skills & Using the Internet will take place on Thursday, October 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST. The cost of this workshop is $29. Students will learn basic computer skills and Internet use while developing a foundation to feel comfortable exploring the power of technology. The second class, Computer Basics: Using E-mail, will be offered Thursday, November 1st from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST. The cost of this class is $29. Students will explore email and learn how to set up an account, send and receive email messages, as well as how to attach files.
