Bay College West Campus in Iron Mountain will be holding a Resource Fair on Wednesday, October 4th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm CT in their Lower Commons area.  The fair, which had previously been held during the New Student Orientation in August and was targeted specifically toward students, is being modified to also invite community members to stop by and visit the community resources that we will have gathered all in one place.

Jason Sullivan, Executive Director for the West Campus says, “The overall purpose of our Resource Fair is to provide students with an opportunity to be exposed to a number of community resources and organizations that can be of assistance to them as they work towards their goals here at Bay College.  When taking into consideration the number of organizations that we will have under one roof, we thought it would be a great opportunity to open this up for the community to come in and gather information for themselves as well.”

Organizations participating in the event include Northpointe Behavioral Healthcare System, WIOA/Forward Service Corporation, Upper Peninsula Michigan Works!, DICSA/Denim Heart, Northern Lights YMCA, The Caring House of Iron Mountain, Dickinson-Iron District Health Department, Dickinson County Library, Great Lakes Recovery, The Cure, along with campus-based student resources that include TRIO, the Bay College Food Pantry, the Bay College Career Closet, and Bay College mental health counseling services.

The event will be located at the Bay College’s West Campus at 2801 N US 2 in Iron Mountain. For more information on the event, you can contact Student Services at the West Campus at 906-302-3000.
