In honor of our country's veterans, the Bay College Civics Corps in partnership with American Merchant Marine Veterans, The American Legion, Great Lakes Peace Center, and Waging Dialogue Proudly Presents: "Veterans Speak!" An Intergenerational Event. This event will take place on Monday, November 27 from 7:00-9:00 pm ET via Zoom. To attend, please contact Dr. June Klees at kleesj@baycollege.edu to receive the Zoom link.

This is a story-telling event with veterans of different generations.  Together, they will share their service-based memories and experiences to build a sense of understanding with each other and the audience.  Everyone is welcome!

This year's event highlights speakers from American Merchant Marine Veterans and The American Legion.  The panel also will include local veterans and those who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.  Mr. Dave Yoho, a World War II veteran, author, and internationally-renown presenter will deliver the keynote.  Mr. Yoho has appeared on talk shows, been invited to the White House four times, been recognized in major business publications, and received a congressional gold medal.  He will address the importance of the US Merchant Marine, World War II, and honoring veterans' stories over the generations.
