This October, Bay College presents a line-up of concerts in the Besse Theater highlighting local and national artists.  The lineup includes: Tim Kliphuis & Jimmy Gant, The Make-Believe Spurs, and Delilah DeWylde.  All concerts start at 7pm EST on the Main Campus, 2001 N. Lincoln Rd., Escanaba. Doors open at 6:30pm EST.  Tickets can be purchased online, www.baycollege.tix.com, or at the Box Office in person or by calling 906-217-4045.  The Bay College mission is “Student Success, Community Success, and Creating a Culture of Success.” One of the ways we do that is by bringing arts, culture, and entertainment to the community.

Tim Kliphuis & Jimmy Grant perform Django Jazz from Paris on Monday, October 9.  This duo celebrates the music of the famed musicians Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt.  This performance captures Paris in the 1930’s drawing inspiration from current-day classical and folk.  Prepare to be wowed by this violin/guitar duo.

Admission: $15/K-Bay: $7.00

The Make-Believe Spurs will be performing on Tuesday, October 10.  Based in Marquette, The Make-Believe Spurs have been playing sparkly Alt-Folk and Americana together since 2022.  Their intent is to share kindness, love, and magic through music. Their sound and setup is versatile, ranging from close-knit harmonies to electric romps for the dance floor.  Performing close to 200 shows a year, they tour all over the United States, but primarily focus on the Great Lakes region.

Admission: $15/K-Bay: $7.00

On Wednesday, October 26, performing is Delilah DeWylde (get ready to jump back in time!).  She has an Early American rock ‘n roll sound and will take you through the 50s and 60s highlighting historical moments while honoring the women who’ve paved the way for future female rockers.

Admission: $15/K-Bay: $7.00
